I am overwhelmed and need help!

Let's start this off by introducing my self, my name is Logan Honeycutt and I am from Charlotte, NC. I am 16 years of age but remember age is just a number. My ambitious is what counts.

Currently I have been working on a product idea my self, I have no other help other than my good friend Google. With this idea I want to turn it into a thriving business but I am so overwhelmed with the legal, monetary and business aspects of this.

Let me explain some what of my idea with out giving it away to much, basically the idea is focused on quality and assurance by beta testers to help out programmers, and developers. The website side would primarily act as a mean to connect the two together based on each others field. Then the two would move on to the software side which in this case this software offers numerous benefits that I can not say in full detail.

My main goal for posting this is this... I need guidance on how to make this dream come true based off the boundaries I have, I have no funding, no team, the software or website has not been developed and I am just stuck with my self and a golden idea. What do I do... Also remember I am 16 so legal things are difficult and seeking help I am not taken serious at times

    Thanks, Logan Honeycutt.

    Hi Logan,

You know there are companies that are already in existence with the products and services you are looking at operating. Perhaps, you should focus on something alternative or with a little spice..

Staerboy, I can not really explain to full detail what makes my software different to these other primarily communication softwares, there is a whole other level involved with this that gives it numerous benefits.

I don't know a thing about programming but my advice with the business
part would be "figure out if that market really needs your product"?
See if alot of people are looking or want your idea.
Once you know the answer then think about actually creating the product or software.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Logan,

Just because businesses of the same ethos exist, it doesn't mean you should look into another one if you think the idea you have will be better than the competition! Stick to it if that's your ambition.

Generate an advisory board of people in relevant fields by emailing them and getting into contact. Mentors will help a lot!

Hey there, I have a bit of experience in the tech field myself, and I love your enthusiasm!

I would like you to clarify the "beta testers to help out programmers, and developers." part. Is this a service that companies use to get beta testers to test their Visual C#, C++, and other client-side programs, or is this a service that provides testers to test website applications, javascript, .NET, and other server-side functions?

It would be very beneficial to you to narrow down your market with a product like this, and to really understand the service that you are offering and how it will work.
