    How to start and grow a small consumer debt management/reduction company?

    Hello,

    I am having a dificult time finding information on starting a consumer debt settlement/reduction/negotiation management company. It's called so many things, I tried to mention diiferent versions of the name. Is it an expensive start up business and where should I go for info?

    not sure is you are uk based but i have had some problem. I have contacted DEMSA one of the regulatory bodies that are supposed to manage such companies here in the uk but they had very little help to offer, they did however suggest the office of fair trading might be a starting point.

    get a job with a collection agency, or inquire about starting a franchise. problem solved.

    btw: dude, you can do a million different things in financial services. why debt collection? that's like the a hole of the industry. my gawd, pick something sexy like hedge funds, marine insurance or whatever
