    How to buy Stocks/Shares

Hi everyone, I am intressted in buying stocks/shares in the Burberry company. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange. As I live in Australia, how should I do to invest in that business. Can I do it online or do I need to visit a bank?

There should be stockbrokers in your city centre. Their commission might be too much so I recommend that you find an online broker. Try E-trader or other similar ones... google them. Once you have your account you can search then buy the share you were after.

Make sure your broker also deals with london stock exchange shares as well.

    okey dokey...
i'm a financial planner in sydney and here's how you can buy BRBY
the asx has a list of stock brokers. since you don't want any advice, what you need an online, discount broker. there's 12 of them in australia. out of these 12, what you want is the one that can let you trade LSE shares, and which has the lowest commission. So, out of these 12, at least 4 do UK equities: St George directshares, Interactive Brokers, commsec and Macquarie DirecTrade.

Go to their sites. Open an account and place an order for BRBY stock.

Take a look at E-Trade, and other online exchanges. Also...

You may be interested in something like Forex.
