I am just curious as to what the resale rights for a product are and how they are determined. For example, if i was to buy a magic trackpad from Apple, and then incorporate the trackpad into a wooden table top that i build, then sell the table as my own product, is the legal? the product is not being modified in any way but simply being incorporated into one of my own products. I can not find any information on this anywhere.
An example of this is Colorware, who sells apple products that they have modified (painted). Is an individual agreement required with the company, or is this ok to do on your own? any help is appreciated, thank you.
