Question How Do I Go About Forecasting My Business' Traffic?

I'm currently in the planning phases of my business and want to bring a complete and successful business plan to an investor. I'd like to open a hookah bar and have completed my research for the most part, however I'm dumb-founded as to how to go about projecting how many customers I should forecast.

I will be opening this lounge in an area where there is no similar competition within a 30 mile radius, I believe that my target demographic is any race or gender within the age of 18 - 30 who smokes. Due to the fact that there's no competition I have no one to probe for information, there has never been a business of this type in the area what-so-ever either so I have nothing to look back on either.

I'm in a location where I will be pulling traffic from three different towns and have demographic information for all of them. Is there a standardized percentage that i should use that would act as an educated guess? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    "C'mon Dude..."

Whether or not you'd finance this, or think it'll be successful is irrelevant. I was merely asking a question, if you don't have an answer that's fine, but going around flaming people who are looking for answers is just a waste of time. Thanks for the free bump though.

I would encourage you "the word of mouth" marketing strategy first and secondly I would pass out flyers around other bars or lounges. And third I would advertise on the local radio stations.

These strategies should be good for your business model. Also, having a website will help tremedosly since people maybe searching online for a hookah local bar. Good luck
