How do I get my products manufactured

I would like to make wallets. I have many ideas for designs and I also have a background in marketing but how do I get my designs on wallets? Do I have to manufacture them myself or do I find a manufacturer that will put my designs on the wallets?

I live in Canada and I would really like to deal with either a Canadian or American manufacturer and not an Chinese one.

It's always interesting to hear other YE ventures. Blackcat Your on the right track but you tend to forget that in the beginning steps of establishing a business you need to do research. I would research Domestic and International suppliers through google and in addition explore other routes. I know of one resource I have listed below. Good luck!
