    Thanks you all for your kind comments. We've been able to get a lawyer based in the US to help us out. We've also been to the US embassy here. So I'll keep you guys updated.

    @ armenh: Yes, I've learnt my lesson!! But come to think of it, there any company that'll deliver their product to a client without being paid in full?

    Sorry to hear this happened to you. Stealing from a man in a wheelchair is a new low.

    Contact the New York State Police and ask them how to proceed. The NYSP have the best resources.

    Your case becomes more complex with the border situation.

    Stop calling this guy. If he keeps the phone active you may have a way to trace him.
