How can I get more traffic on my website??

How can I get people to visit my website. Is there way to advertise a website with out paying for it. I don't have the mony to pay for advertising. If anybody has any ideas pleas help. my website is www.littlefiestas.net

One of my friend's is a golfer and I showed him the site. Who knows how many he showed?

Start with word of mouth advertising. Then work in some slight spam(forum sigs, email sigs, ect...). Then start linking up with bigger sites in your general intrest.

Well its not optimized very well, the title of your page is Home. I doubt any search engine will pick it up. Also you may want to consider hosting outside of homestead.

I'm gonna agree with InnoGlobal. Your site has no optimization techniques employed. Start with descriptive title tags and add descriptions to your image alt tags. That helps, but the best way to build traffic is to simply have other people in your area of interest link to you, and you link back

littlefiestas, you gotta good site, if you don't have HTML/Web skills yourself, I would recommend trying to find a web development company in India. There are 10's of thousands. I got my entire site built with 1 company if you want a referral. You'll also pay a fraction with them compared to what you will pay with these web developers in USA ($2500+, rip off!)

Looks like a local here, I live in Studio City.

Basically just try word of mouth, you can get some cheap business cards from www.vistaprint.com, hand them out to family and friends and have them see if anyone is interested.

The site is a bit basic, but I would just submit it with a brief article to blogs or other sites that deal with tattoos and the like and maybe one of them will post it. Also, never used this site but apparently it has free advertising www.payeh.org. Hope that helps =/

I checked out the site, its not the worse design in the world, but could do with a bit more information possibly. Just do a search on google and u will find mounds of info on this kinda thing. Even searching through this forum will yield loads of info.

When promoting my site, which has just been going for a couple of months, I have found that one of my biggest referrers have been the classified ads that I have posted at www.smilecity.co.nz basically it is free to join smilecity, then by logging in and completing quick surveys and polls etc, you earn points. You can then use these points to buy classified ads. As they have thousands of members the ads are quite well hit by traffic. As well as that include the address in the signature of the emails you send people, plus the forums that you post in. Before long it will start happening, just keep plugging away at it.

Just a word on the font of the site. I know you mightn't be that familiar with designing websites, but at least change the font to make it readable.

Change the layout of the text. There are no headings about the text except TEMPORARY AIRBRUSH TATTOOS which is the first thing I see.

I don't think you need to pay anybody to redevelop the site or design a new one. If you just keep tweaking with the site to make it more professional, it'll be fine.

On a plus side, I like the way you have kept the site very simple and easy to navigate through. I like the gallery, good work!
