Help with Legal Issues, for GPT site

im thinking of creating a GPT site, or a PTC.
anyway i was trying to figure out what i needed for it, like i know all the things like web hosting, domain, etc, but how about the legal stuff?

do i need a tax identification number?
do i need a llc? <-- whateveer that is
and etc? can anyone help me? thank you so so so much
