I am involved in a new start up company in the beverage business, and we are in need of a software package that can provide accounting, distribution and sales tracking, that is accessible via the internet aka decentralized, by everyone in the company.

Does anyone have a recommendation for something around 1000 - 5000 dollars?

Look at some of the high end Quickbooks Programs. I use Pro which gives me and my office manager 24/7 access. It sounds like you need something a little more advanced then Pro. Is there a reason you want ALL of your employees to have access? That idea scares me a little.
