Freight Forwarding Companies in USA-Advantages?

Hey guys,

Just need your thoughts on this topic.

I intend on moving quite a bit of stock from the USA. What are the advantages of using one of these forwarding companies instead of a normal courier such as DHL?

I would very mich appreciate the panel of experts opinion and also anyone that has any knowledge in regard to my help request,

Freight companies may have an advantage in getting your shipments through customs much quicker than someone like DHL, UPS, or FedEx. Also, freight companies are usually pretty specialized and can help you deal with any local issues, especially if you have large items or large quantities of items you are shipping. I have a friend who runs a freight company to the Middle East and another contact in China that works in exports if you are interested.

Thank you for your response. I am actually looking for a freight forwarder to ship to Ireland. If you have any experience with companies there or could advise any to me I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm actually looking for a person that deals with exports in China. I believe you know a friend in china who deals with freight companies.
