    Florida Single Member LLC Help

I have a niche market and invention in the works. I will essentially be a 100% web based company. I have read site after site and book after book.

I was wondering if someone with legal or previous experience could give me a checklist or step by step outline to follow to get my online business 100% legal in the eyes of the Government at a Federal, State/Local levels. I want to start a single member limited liability company. I never realized how expensive it is just to do that. Almost un-American to make it difficult for someone trying to start their first venture.

I basically would like it so my company's name, site, logo, and slogan are all protected from scammers and competition using a variation trying to act like they are me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also since I am a single member I just wanted to make sure that in Florida I can still receive the Limited Liability coverage and pass through tax benefits.

Another thing is do I have to put my name in the newspaper or just use the division of corporations online fictitious name application?

Yeah I know about that site, but it leaves out the whole agreement of operations and just a basic outline of what you should do

I was just wondering if anyone know somewhere or something that would have a simple but in depth checklist of exactly what I have to do. Because it seems that there are certain things that aren't required but are highly recommended to help cover your liability better and things of that nature

try this... and don't cut corners... you'll pay in the long run... do your research in some states an LLC isn't the best option for a single member company.

    good luck
