I'm about to apply for an EIN for a single-member LLC. One of the questions the IRS asks on the online EIN application is "who is the responsible party for the LLC."
The two options are 'an individual' or 'an existing business.' If I select 'an individual' (myself) does that make it easier for the courts to pierce the veil if my LLC gets sued down the road?
