Don't Rely on Free Online Legal Advice

I think it is very dangerous to rely on any legal advice given online. You should consult with a real attorney. Don't take my word for it. Take a look at these disclaimers from Entreprenuer.com and FreeAdvice.com:

    1. Note: The information in this column is provided by the author, not Entrepreneur.com. All answers are general in nature, not legal advice and not warranted or guaranteed. Readers are cautioned not to rely on this information. Because laws change over time and in different jurisdictions, it is imperative that you consult an attorney in your area regarding legal matters and an accountant regarding tax matters.

I perfectly understand that lawyers expenses are very costly but making a mistake based on inaccurate opinions online are often more costly. Do yourself a favor and rely on legal services to resolve your legal problems? You can use free online advice forums to partially gage how serious your legal problem is but IMHO it is not something that you rely on.

    I agree.

I don't think anything free/low cost is worth it when dealing in the legal realm.

I agree, but it is amazing how some people are too frugual when it comes to investing in legal counsel. They see the investment as an expense.

It is better to consult your problem to legal counsel in person or talk by phone. Sometimes, advices are different depending on the situation you are going to consult.

I agree. However, if you have many legal issues the cost of an attorney is percieved to be expensive. Attorneys charge on average $200 per hour.
