Greetings all,

A while back, I started a blog called BioDepth, which is located at BioDepth.com. It is a site aimed at teaching people about biology. However, it has recently come to my attention that there was also a major research project that went by the name BIODEPTH.

Do I need to change the name of my blog now? Does using BIODEPTH as the name of a research project count as claiming the rights to that name? Not only that, but the research project appears to be based out of a university in Germany, although I am not sure about that. Does that change things?

I probably should have looked into that a bit more before starting the site. Hindsight is 20/20 . Any guidance on this issue is appreciated. Thanks!
