I am in business with three of my friends. We have started the business for about a year and I fully intend to grow it. The problem is, we have never mentioned anything about the stock percentage of each co-founder.
So far, we have assumed that we have an even share (25% each). But it turns out that the amount of capital and effort put into the business by each co-founder isn't equal. To me,that simply isn't fair.
For example;
- My house was used as the production place
- 2 member's cars were used as transportation vehicles
- if someone weren't able to finish their job, someone else would cover for it
Does anybody have a suggestion on how to allocate a fair share percentage?
