    Commercial Real Estate Investing?

A relative of mine has approached me about a desire to invest in something (business wise) and wants me to be included..

We have discussed a lot of options, and have decided that possibly an investment in a strip center (new or already existing) or similiar might be a good path, including starting a franchise in one of the units..

Anyone have any insite, related links, information you care to share? Starting cash flow isn't really an issue. A google search for related sites and articles brings up tons of realtor sites and various other garbage.

This relative presently owns a screen enclosure business. We're discussing starting a management company that would own the screen enclosure company, the property, and the franchise with us being the principals. Any thoughts on this as well?

    Thanks!

Have you ever heard of Rich Dad Poor Dad? It is a concept introduced by Robert Kiyosaki. He is a very large advocate of real estate as an investment. He has some great articles on Yahoo Finance.
