This is my first post. I just discovered this site. Looks like it as a lot of very useful information.

I'll soon be starting an online shopping site for some products that will be drop-shipped from the US to anywhere. I'm located in Quebec, Canada.

I'm a little confused as to what taxes I should charge my consumers. My understanding is that people coming from the same place as me (Quebec, Canada) would have to pay both taxes (national and provincial) and that people from the other provinces would pay only the national taxes and that people elsewhere in the world would pay no tax. Anyways, this is my personal experience with things I bought for myself on the Internet so far.

Is this the legal way to go? What is the understanding behind that?
