Received a "certificate of revocation of authority" from the state of South Carolina.

What ramifications (other than never doing business in that state again) exist for letting a company lapse by not filing annual reports?

My (Canadian) Ontario numbered company does not "exist" - and I am using my American company to report activity - in another state.
