Can I make and sell something I dont own the patent of?

    Hi all

I have an idea for a product which I cant find anywhere but there is a patent for it which seems odd. Can I still produce and sell this product?

    Thanks

    Jamie

why not. you can try but be cautious. You should ask what you have to pay for selling the product to see if it's worthy

Thanks for your answers, how would I find out who owns the patent?

The patents were filed years ago but I cant really find a product I want, maybe thats why they arent available as the person who owns the patent isnt letting anyone make it. Worth finding out though.
