    Business idea

Hi, im new here so sorry if this is in the wrong section. I am 16yrs old living in the U.K just finished high school, im fairly intelligent but i failed on my GCSE's as i missed school days etc and wasnt bothered and thought I was better than I was. Anyways, now I'm at home with my parents nagging me to get a job, when I noticed we have a brown wheelie bin used for garden wast we have had thes for some months now and i noticed mine had slugs snails spiders grass etc etc all over it, now I know there are company's out there that clean them but there aren't any in my area so i was considering starting a little wheelie bin cleaning for some extra cash, any ideas or advice the advantages disadvantages etc will be appreciated and thanks.

I was the same as you were at you at school. Always in the topset for everything, pretty good at classwork, but then became to big headed to revise for gcse and then messing up. However I got back up and went for a college course to prove everyone wrong.

Don't waste your time doing nothing... and no cleaning slugs of wheelie bins isn't considered "something".

Get back on a school course, or learn a trade like web designing/ developing so you could work at home and actually make a real living.

Anyways sorry to get off topic there.

    Business disadvantages:

    -Everything...
-People will not pay a lot for this service
    - you will lose contact with the opposite sex
    - Everything!

    Business advantages:

    - if you get £2 for every wheelie bin and you manage to clean 13 bins a day, mo-fri for a month. That will amount to £500 a month, which is ok for someone your age... But not a business!

Here is some advice... Get back to education/ apprenticeship or come up with a better business plan!

I think you should follow your parents' advice; find a job with a good pay and building an online business in your spare time.

I was in the same spot once, I did not want to get paid 8$ an hour, it was a waste of my time, so i started selling apparel and accessories on ebay, i have since moved on to other things, however after a short 6 month job stint, I have never had to work an hourly job again. I am paying my way though college at the moment
