    Business Dilemma

    Hi Guys,

I have recently started my business. I am basically into software development and 2D-n-3D Computer Graphics (www.t3astudios.com).

I have started this in a partnership and currently there are two main guys (the co-founders) along with couple of side helps(they help us like on weekends and that too very less often). Now my dilemma is how to go ahead from here. I can go ahead marketing my company and try to get projects. But, when I look at my company I don't have a proper dedicated team that can work for me. Also, we are running this company from home. So, I cannot make people sit at my home and work from there due to lack of space. So, I definitely need two things, that I feel before starting marketing: Team of around 3-4 people and a proper place to work from.

Also, I am not sure if I should start looking for projects first, then hire people and place to do work..OR...get people and place and then go ahead looking for work, since then I will have more confidence of what we can do. And I will be very honest..I don't have a whole lot of money to get a big place and hire people till I get work. But, without people how can I get work? I am in a big dilemma.

Hoping to get some expert advices here on this.

    Thanks.

Yes, you can outsource. Just the right thing to do since you don't have an office.

Your dilemma is simple. You are so hung up on the image of your company being low staffed and without office. Do you even have any projects lined up? You're worrying of "expansion" without any legitimate demand for your services.

It sounds to me that you are making phantom excuses not to succeed. Take jobs that you and your partners can attain. Meet your clients from their offices. This will alleviate the "dilemma" of seeing that you work from home. Many free lance designers are home-based.

I'm not that tech savvy but I do know that there is a way to network and "package" work in progress electronically. This way people can work from all corners of the world within their virtual offices.

    Anurag..
do you have a business plan to start with? Do you have a marketing and revenue plan before you think of office space. How are you planning to pay the guys helping you?....
