best websites to learn legal structure of business.

I want to learn the business law structure of business.

Currently I am in college majoring in accounting.

My college is not a good school. We only learn stuff out of the books we are given.

Is their any good sites that goes into legal depth of the business?

So far I only know general legal laws of the business struture due to taking accounting classes.

They only covered about copyrights, trade marks, patents, the incorperation parts like llc and much more.

We did some touches on federal taxes.

I am currently in a federal tax class.

I was told the class will not teach you about the laws of federal tax but would teach you have to look them up.

They told us to get the publication 17 and a IRS code book.

Now I really am learning general of federal taxes. I want to learn more in depth so I can master or get a better handle on business.

Currently I own my own 2 websites. I plan to start a S-corp LLC. I don't plan to sell shares at the start.

So am asking here where are the best resources to learn the business structure of the legal side of things.

I don't want to have to rely on a lawyer. I would still hire a lawyer but I want to know the laws etc so I can keep an eye on the lawyer and also hire the proper lawyer.

My dad hired a devorced lawyer for my sister and after we lost the case cause the guy was from pakistan and he used my sister to get a green card.

Later on my dad finds out that we hired a state devorce lawyer.

He was told later from friends at work that he needed a federal divorce lawyer.

So I am just saying I seen alot of lawyers stories in the past that people faced that showed lawyers taking advantage of people who didn't know the laws.

Is there ways I can also look up laws and do my one legal research?

I had a history professor that taught law school at another university. He told us that lawyers don't know the laws they know how to look the laws up.

He told us that every state has a law library. Usually it's in the capital city of the State.

so if you can give me any resources or links to websites that can help me out or refer me to any e-book or regular book.

I would appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

Check out the public library man. There are so many good resources there. Just do a basic business law search or simply ask the librarian. That place is all you need. I'm in college too by the way.

so the state and federal laws would be at the local library.

I will be going to my local libary this monday anyway. I got to pick up a publication 17 book for my federal tax class anyway.

While I am there I plan to look around. So your saying I should be able to do law research at the local libaray?

I never knew they hold that kind of stuff.
