    Advice in succeeding

So I have a business that I obviously believe can and will and has already been successful for the market that I seek. I believe that I have a money making machine just based on the recent interest and sales that I have made with the small amount of effort that I have input as a saleperson. Note: I SUCK AT BEING A SALESPERSON. My biggest thing is getting out there. Finding the support that can make my company a hosuhold name. According to my business plan, in 5-6 years, when I retire from the Army, I would like to open a store in a mall similar to that of the Hollister, Ed Hardy, Aeropostale, etc. clothing store. My biggest issue is that I cannot go it alone. I'm looking for some sort of support that is willing to invest in producing my product. My question to anyone who is willing to read/listen is, based on what you view from my website, what are some best practices that I can use to lure an investor or partner that can assist with production. Your information will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jerry

    hi
well...yea..there is a complicated, complete, singularly correct answer to your excellent question...
the question you are asking strikes at the heart of occupational entreprenreurship - i.e. how do i make a business that people want to be a part of...and the answer comes down to alot of things..beggining with your skill at opportunity selection (i.e. you ability to pick scaleable, noteworthy opportunities)..as well as other things such as the role of peer filtering (i.e. how trustworthy you are perceived).

so..given that it's not an easy answer...i don't know if i can be bothered to explain and dictate answers to you. why should I care about helping you? what is it that you are doing that's so important that i should bother?

if you can answer these questions in a systematic, meaningful way, you will start to appreciate how to answer your own question.

    Hire a Salesperson.

Don't you have to be your own salesperson to convince investors or business partners to be part of you???

Write a business plan. If it makes since investors will follow. Call your local SCORE office they can help (for free).

    Good Luck!
