Advice for selling software and services

    Hello,

I would like help on the following points –

    1) Which websites are rated best for selling IT products. I am looking at commercialising my open-source software. The software is for both business reporting and operations.
    2) Which websites are rated best for selling IT services. More specifically regarding support for open-source applications.

Please note that I am looking international and can communicate fluently in English, French and Finnish. Can also accomodate other languages.

    Your constructive advice/comments are welcome.

Is there any reason why you prefer to use a middle-man to sell your software? Have you considered marketing your product on your own?

    Thanks for your comment.

I am not particularly aiming at getting a middle man involved, but to have the ability to expose my services and products to people who share the same passion (ie. IT sector) or looking for solutions.

Sometimes when you do a cost/benefit exercise, it maybe that the amount of money(mainly fees) put into such sites are significantly outweighed by the return.

To be more concise, I am looking for different possible value-added mediums to market what I have to offer.
