Which Small businesses Can Benefit from this?

Since this is a legal forum, I would like to bring up the subject of legal plans.Does anyone here know any small business owners who could benefit from Pre-Paid Plans? I am not asking to reveal any names because I do not want to spam, but I am curious on what professions use Pre-Paid plans. This will help me market to individuals who see a need for them.

There have been companies who provided these plans for over 30 years so there must be a need for them in the small business community. Again I will not share any information about my small business plan unless someone requests it in a private message. My primary purpose is to measure how many small business owners feel the need for legal protection. Thanks for your help.

I don't think that most people need pre-paid plans. I think when they get in trouble, if they ever do they just hire an attorney.

I know my sister has a pre-paid legal plan for herself and her boyfriend, but that is only because they are constantly having to find out how best to handle his ex-wife pertaining to his 12 year old daughter. Outside of personal situations such as that, I'm not sure of anywhere a pre-paid legal plan is in use.

I think this may be a hard market to crack, I think many businesses and people for that matter tend to wait until they need a service before purchasing one.

There are also businesses that constantly use Pre-Paid Legal services. Many real estate professions have several contracts per year that they want reviewed and consulted on. From their experience, they never know when a deal is going to be made. Has this been your experience?

I want the market who feels they will use these plans frequently or a market that feels their profession is in the high risk group of a lawsuit.

    Hi Kim,

The perfect market for some legal plans are small business owners who have annual legal expenses of $2,000 or more primarily for document review and legal consulation.

I read an article recently about a pre-paid legal company doing well with a lot of small business clients. I personally just hire an attorney.

This is the market that I am targeting. Especially businesses that spend more than $1500 per year on legal consultation, document review and contract writing.

If you are a small business that has annual legal expenses below $800 and your business does not belong in the high risk group of lawsuits, I can understand simply hiring an attorney when needed.

Note: I am not an attorney and this is not legal advice.

    Thanks Mark
