Hi guys,

I have an issue here and not sure whether I'm not breaching the law.

I run online drum shop specialised in second-hand gear but I still sell new goods which I get from another drum shop at a good price.

I'm wondering if I'm not breaching the law by selling new branded products without having a contract with manufacturer or distributor?

No you will be fine as long as you are registered as Self Employed.

But if shipping outside of the UK or selling branded goods on places like Ebay you may be required to supply documents to prove they are authentic goods.

Yes, I'm registered as Self-employed.

I also sell second-hand items online, do I need any license to do that?

Are there any more opinions? Is it possible that manufacturers will see it as disrespect to their company and therefore won't give me dealer account when I will be ready to take one? (I can't get one until I have dedicated business premises)

I find the hardest part is finding a trustworthy dealer or dropshipper. I am going to watch this topic close!
