    Self Contractor....1099 tax form

I am a business owner. I am looking to expand my business and am currently looking for sales reps. These sales reps will be completely commission based. I am wondering if i can sign them on as a self contractor and have them do all of their taxes instead of me. I will be just giving them a 1099 form to file out for tax purposes. Will i be able to still write these employee expenses off on my taxes?

The sales reps will be given the business information and be able to do what they please with it to get sales in anyway. I read that if the employees were required to do something one way they would have to be employed by me then. They will be paid per sale (different scale on each sale). They are not paid hourly in anyway.

    Thanks for the help!
