registering LLC

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and to business!

I'm going to start an online store that specializes in Fair Trade handicraft products. I will be doing online sales and wholesale to boutiques in America. I have a permanent address in CO and my partner has his in TX. However we both live in Thailand. I'm wondering where is the best place to register our business, and if there is anything special I need to know about, considering that we live outside the U.S.

Are you a US citizen? What is the potential size of the company (revenue)? There are many options available depending on several factors.

My partner and I are both US citizens. The company will be very small for a while (I haven't figured out expected revenue yet).

You may want to consider an offshore jurisdiction as well. Since your business is web based there is no restriction on this and you can potentially save on taxation. Recently I have been using Panama for offshore IBC's and LLC's. It is a great option.
