I'm currently an account executive for this telecom company I work for. I mean I do get a decent salary along with a commision per every sale. I've been probably making multiple deals that brings about a margin of about 10 grand every month. And I was thinking, especially when I could have been an independent contractor and just take that profit myself rather than taking only a portion of 10 grand, why don't I just work for myself? What kind of license do I need to be a telecom broker? I will be just dealing with buying and selling basically. I won't be dealing with any installation or any hosting services, but just brokering basically. I'm not saying I will be starting my own company any time soon, but after I obtain enough sources and knowledge to be an indepent contractor, I just thought it would be a good idea for me to separate from this company.
