    Profit form?

My friend agreed to give me 37% of all profits made from his website, if I manage it and advertise it. Is there a legal form I can print up, to hold him to his promise? Could someone show me what the form looks like? And where to get one?

I am not sure that there is a legal form per say for this type of agreement but you will probably want to consult a lawyer about drawing up an agreement. This type of agreement should be fairly straightforward and can probably be handled by LegalZoom or another business like it.

This would be a basic contract. You can type one up in five minutes. I'm not sure that there is a generic version or not... try doing a Google Search for 'basic partnership agreement'... I just did it an a ton of results came up.

Don't forget that a form is worthless if you do not have the money to spend on a lawyer to enforce it. Just because you put this document in place doesn't mean you are safe. You need to really trust this person before you more forward.

    I agree with Rogercbryan

    Hi pcbres16,

I just want to say I agree with Rogercbryans comment that you need legal services to enforce your contract. I have purchased a very inexpenseive legal plan that helps with this and many other legal issues concerning businesses. If you want more information about these plans, I can share it with you.
