Forming an LLC

Hello Totters,

I am a Legal Assistant for a law firm in New Jersey called the Pepper Law Group, LLC.

The fee of $1800 is way too high, in fact, our firm does not even charge that for Trademarking, which entails quite a bit more work than establishing your LLC.

For the most part, you can form your entity and establish your EIN all in the same day, if done online, as long as your state website is agreeable on that day!

Here at the Pepper Law Group, we charge $500 plus your state fees to form your entity. This $500 also includes your 1/2 hour consultation.

As you can see, our fees are significantly less, as are those on LegalZoom, etc. Should you feel you would be more comfortable with an attorney's office aiding you in this matter, please give me a call and we will set up that consultation.

If you have any questions I can help you with, please feel free to ask and PM me.

Good luck in your new venture.

Kindly,

Lisa Snyder

pre-paid legal is actually real helpful for legal advice. i think i pay $80 a month and i get all the advice i need. they would walk you through setting it all up and giving you all the forms. but anything beyond over-the-phone advice will cost you.
