Hello,

Please I don't stay in the US but I'd like to know the following:

1) How can I incorporate an LLC in the US?

2) How can I get an American postal addresss?

3) How can I get a us 1800 number?

I'll be grateful if anyone can direct me to where I can get all these done. Also what documentation do I need to provide. Can all these be done online and how much will it cost? What are the implications (if any)?

Hi Mauco,

1. You could try using my site, LLCBuddy.com to obtain your LLC.
2. You could try UPS and see if you can get a PO Box.
3. Have a look into using Skype.

I would definitely suggest getting a UPS mailbox, because unlike PO boxes, you'll get a real street address which looks much more professional! I have one myself!

There is a wealth of information and tons of posts on this site regarding setting up an LLC. I am sure if you search the site you will obtain a better understanding of the issues involved which will lead you towards more specific questions. If I remember correctly, try looking at GUYBBY's posts regarding LLC formation etc. Best of luck

Try grasshopper.com for a 1-800 number. low cost, great service... they know their stuff. (used to be gvmail.com) I use them and very happy.

do not use a UPS mailbox or a PO Box(if you plan to do business for a while)
they are both flagged with the banking institutions
use a virtual office
you can get some from regus.com or you can search on craigslist for cheaper ones
you can get your own corp through the secretary of state website from any state
because anyone in the world can own a US corporation
but if you need a tax-id you can eaither use a US citizen o apply for one or you can go thourgh the state
but it takes forever for a foreigner to get a taxid
like 6 weeks
