Need Help!!

Hi, I was wondering if anybody new if there are any laws in place that allow underage drivers to drive in the case of an emergency. eg. if his/her mum was having a heart attack...

I know it's totally not business related but I have to do an assignment, so I thought I would try my luck here!

Cheers
Matt

The answer to that question i would have said legally a big NO NO but and this is only my opinion if the underage driver was just underage and can drive well on private land say a farm or such like and they can handle the vehicle well and i was having a very bad heart attach i would get them to drive me and worry about the legal issues after. At least i would be alive still rather than wait for the doctor to arrive and possibly be dead.

Please note i am not asking people to break the law in any way but in a life or death situation what would you do !!!

I would say, if you were having a heart attack who the hell cares what the law has to say? If I'm still alive after, I'll worry about the charges then. lol

The law on underage driving stands no mater what the case but most officers, lawyers or judges are not going to charge you if you did not break any other laws.

"If only I had my license, I would have driven mom to the hospital and all would be ok."

Forget the law, act on instinct and morals, worry about the arbitrary legalities later. A few grand in fines is worth saving a life.
