    Junk Removal Business licences?

I'm starting a junk removal business in St. Catharines, Ontario. We will haul anything like garbage, furniture, appliances, rubbish, yard waste, construction debri and anything else that will fit in a pickup truck.

I just got a Master Business Licence, opened a business bank account and leased a 2009 Chevy Pickup truck. I'll need to hire 1 employee.

Does anyone know what other licences or permits I'll need?

Aside from looking into your local regulations for hiring new employees, you will need to hire a good accountant and have him give you the proper paperwork to document your new employee.

Also, most places don't even require a business license to open your own junk removal business, but good for you for having one more piece of verification paperwork. You should also write a business plan and an operating agreement to give your biz some direction and goals.

When hiring an employee, you will also need to account for his cost into every job. While you shouldn't take a salary for the first while, you will need to include his cost into every job you take.
