like i got a blog and lets say i take an image from another blog, that took an image from another website and i post it on my blog and put my url on bottom lightly, and then post my content is that illegal, reason i do this is people copy my blog stuff with the image and i wasn't getting any credit so now they copy my blog post at least it has my url in the image they stole from me with my blog content.

that's fine. everything is legal until the time you get a cease and desist, at which time you can just comply and the problem is over.

If the image is copyrighted, then you're likely infringing on the copyright owner's rights. If it's not, then you're fine. Either way, as a few other posters have said, you can always take the route of "cheat, but don't get caught." Getting caught will likely just be a slap on the wrist.
