    Investor/Partner Contracts

    Howdy folks,

First time poster so hi to all.

I have a question I've been mulling over for a while now.

I have a business relationship with an investor and we have an agreement covering things like ownership of business %, pay, buyouts etc. The entire document is over 30 pages long. Right now I just have a copy of the final page that contains the signatures.

    Here's my question:

Do you think it's necessary, or prudent to get other pages of the document initialled?

It just seems funny to me that we've got 30 pages and only 1 needs signing.

    Thanks!

    TG

Hi Texas and welcome to the forum. In my opinion, I would keep more than just a copy of the last page with the signatures. You don't necessarily have to initial each page, but that last page could go to any contract. Make sure you have an complete copy intact to better protect yourself.
