I am starting a gaming LAN center here in Atlanta, Georgia. I am wondering what

licences i am going to need to open this business.

The ones i have seen say something about LLC...

What is that?

An LLC is a legal business entity. It is not a license. An LLC affords you various benefits such as limited liability for owners and increased standing with financiers like banks.

If you run a business, you generally need to look into state and city business licenses (google this for Georgia and Atlanta). You will also likely need a Federal EIN (easily obtainable via the web).
