    Free workers

    Good day

I am currently facing quite an odd dilemna. I currently have around 30 individuals who want to work for me, but as I have a staff that performs all the necessities, they have all asked for any position for as low as 300-800 purely on commission.

What I want is a situation much like the MLM companies uses. They do not pay employers tax nor hold any employer-liabilities to their "workers".

I would like to utilize these individuals for simple marketing techniques such as SEO, article-writing, forum postings etc. And the dilemma is that I have no idea what situation this will put me in when it come to liability and taxes. As for liability I believe I have a solution ready which would make it look like a deal between 2 individuals, rather than a employer/employee situation. Does this then make me liable for taxes? will I have to pay employers taxes for the money these people earn, or will they only be liable to pay income taxes.

I have known these people for a fairly long time, so i know they are not here to run me out of money.

i really don't know much legal stuff but if you hired them as contractors then you wouldn't have to worry about taxes, they would have to pay income tax themselves. But there is kinda a fine line between them being contractors and employees.

Cheers Adum for being a polite member. I do not want to hire them as contractors, I know the MLM business's uses some other way to get around this. Basically if I make a site saying "Type hello in the box to the right and get 100 dollar".....that would not be a employer-employee situation, nor a contractor situation. There is something in between.
