    customizable toys

Is it ok for me to allow customers post their customized toys on our site?
The thing that really worries me is copyright infringement. what if some of the customers post pictures of toys with faces of celebrities?

Get attorney to draft out a TOS to protect yourself. You can't sue the gun manufacturer when a kid shot someone with it can you?

I don't think that analogy is very accurate. A better analogy would be selling fake Prada handbags in your brick-and-mortar store, which means there might be more issues there than before. Still, you're advice to the poster to speak with an attorney is spot on.

Doesn't it depend on what the toy is in the first place?

I mean, customizable toys, like LEGO and Zoids, you'd sort of expect that to be 100% ok with the companies. After all, they're designed to be customizable if you don't like the instructions in the box.

Or are you talking something more like people doing customized action figures?

People doing customized action figures. EX: They can paint, write, put pictures, etc.. on the toy.
