Hello,
Myself and 2 other freelancers would like to market ourselves together. We are very clear about the fact that we are a collection of freelancers who regularly use each other for projects, and not a company or corporation, but the co-op we will market ourselves under has a name.
What is the best way to set this up legally? We want to avoid the overhead of having a single corporate entity because we all file our freelance taxes separately, and make business decisions separate from one another.
We essentially just want to be able to advertise that we have access to the skills we each have if/when one of us lands a client that requires them. Other than that we would like things to be very loose.
