    Characture copyright

I have come up with a intersting idea that I think would take some products.
My question is that if I use tv media ,of this tv character( to promote the products)and if I have the name of that said character on the product ( TSHIRTS BRACLETS ECT.) can I be sued by the parent company for infringing on characture rights?

Yes, you most certainly can. There are a few exceptions, such as fair use or parody, but you will likely lose more in legal costs than you will gain in the venture. If it truly promotes, why not contact the company and seek a license for use? I am currently in negotiations with a company for just such an agreement.
