The first thing to look at is the projected profit of the company. Next, if the company is an LLC or an S-Corp, the profit will be passed through to the individual tax returns of the owners. Finally, depending on which state you are in you will have different tax brackets. I have our business incorporated in the state of Tennessee, but have not yet had to file a tax return. However, I expect that our tax liability will be rather low partially due to the fact that we did only $20-30k in revenue last year, plus any earnings we did show should be able to be kept in the company at a very low tax rate as cash on hand for expansion.

Also, at the top of this page there is a Search menu. Click it and then search for taxes. You should find a few threads with some information.

A number of factors going into calculating the tax base, contingent upon the type of corporation you are. A great FREE ebook resource that I just found and posted under General Business Forum is Business Start Up - Start Your Own Business. Great ebook written by attorneys with TONS of helpful links in today's internet world. I just can't spoke speaking about this free article. It has totally blown me away.

Where exactly are you looking? I typed 'business tax questions' into Google and came up with over 6,200,000 sites about this topic..... My advice to you based on your post is to call a CPA as you seem to need someone else to do this for you anyways....
