What are your launching tips for an app/product/business etc?

Hmm test it first! I'm a big fan of the lean startup methodology by Eric Ries.

Basically the idea is to find out if there's a product fit in the marketplace before doing any type of development. Otherwise you'd build a beautiful product that no one needs.

For example, if you're selling a software product, set up a single landing page with a download button that leads to a 404 page. And log how many people actually click on the button - log your ROI.

Or set up a landing page with a buy button and just don't sell or charge anything at the final checkout page.
