Yes, I am a social Nomad!

My nomadic life started when MySpace was still a baby. In those days My Space was so called "In".Making an account in My space, adding few friends, playing new games, listening new music, It just turned out to be a perfect home for me. I stayed and spent more than 18 hours in my new house. I hardly used to hang out with my friends and their was a time when I hardly interacted on My space too. I visited my profile and spent hours playing games and listening music. Like every good thing ends at some point of time. Same happened to me.My space became crowded, Every youngster in the town was using it.
MySpace became crowded and then I thought of shifting. After that I have continuously shifted from one social media to another. I used to have ahappy stay for some time then I had new people in my surrounding and again I had to shift.
I had many stops thereafter from Orkut to Hi5, Friendster, Hikut, Ibibo, Etc etc to Linkdin, facebook, and twitter now a days.
Does anybody ever feel like a social nomad? It tends to happen to me when getting together with a larger amount of people. When the numbers increase and people start breaking off into conversation groups I get weird and honestly wdont want to be a apart of all of them at the same time. And I try to do that knowing it's going to wear me out. I can jump in and out of different conversations easily but at the same time I never think I'm officially "In" one. Sometimes I'm physically right in the middle of two conversations and I find myself paying attention to one, then checking out the other one, and back to the previous one every few minutes.

Speaking of place of residence for the past many years -Facebook.
Recently after I heard of the new talk of the town Google+, now I am again thinking of changing my place of inahbitant. Facebook was my longest and the most strongest commitmnet. with any of my places. It had eventually turned out to be antural inhabitant for me.
The more you love now and the more you hate later.
This actualy sounds like is written on me and many like me.
Now I cant stand Facebook for personal communications.
Facebook had turned out into a buisness communication tool for me. I a hardly online on it chatting and gossiping with any of my girls.
Why am I so badly over with facebook?
Did a lot of research on that, which actually was not required that much as somewhere in my mind I knew the reason.
I had some very known reasons of not adoring it in sae way as before and I am sure guys would agree on many of these points.

    1.Facebook is UGLY.
In the begining our homepage contained our picture, a couple of links for editting, announcements about new requests and invites, and birthday announcements. It was very clean and easy to navigate, and the really important things were immediately apparent upon logging in. With the new “Facelift”, as we’re immediately flooded with a ridiculous amount of information the second you log in.

    2. It’s Creepy
I think it’s creepy that acts that were once personal and not immediately open to the scrutiny of others are now blared on loudspeakers to everyone without distinction. Sure, none of this is information that didn’t already exist, but the difference is accessibility.

    3. Applications
What sounded like a good idea at first has turned into a nightmare. Facebook applications. I don't feel the love really. And the spam these things generate is flat out annoying. And the commercial world has jumped on this to spam the hell out of us all in a 'marketing effort' to sell us stuff we don't need. Of course you can tinker with your options to get rid of all this nonsense but honestly I don't feel users should have to do any of that.

    4. PRIVACY AND CONTENT OWNERSHIP
Privacy invading 'beacons' and the recent TOS change are two examples. Of course, the really bad things got reversed after the userbase threw a mass-fit but that doesn't make things good all of a sudden. The sheer fact that Facebook tries to implement things that clearly invade user privacy and rights to their content in a stealthy way, hoping the users won't notice completely sucks. It shows me they have absolutely no respect for their users.

    5. Can't DELETE MY ACCOUNT

This is a simple but fundamental one. When I wish to not use a service anymore I feel I should be able to DELETE my account. Right now the only way to sort of get rid of your Facebook account is to manually remove ALL content and then deactivate it. This is ridiculous. The service should have one big red 'DELETE PROFILE' button which wipes out the entire profile and all associated content. Other services have this feature so why doesn't Facebook? You tell me.
So here it is. I don't like Facebook. I never did and I probably never will.

But I am addicted, its like I dont want to use it, but I cant resist until i Get new home.

wheew.. you really are a Social Network Nomad! And a darn good one, too! Well, I would advise you to not delete your old accounts from your older SNS's, so you can keepin touch with old friends, or just to keep a reference for future use.. Well, journey on, and Godspeed, SN Nomad!
