Why is my blog generating so many hits?

I started a blog at my company, timesheets.com, 3 months ago and we are already seeing around a hundred hits a day! What are we doing right? It is a good looking blog and our posts are well written and interesting. Is this it or is something else going on?

Install google analytics on it and find out where the traffic is coming from. My guess is that you got into google somehow for a keyword you weren't trying for.

Well thanks for the info but this was an honest question. I have installed google analytics and did see some unexpected keywords come up but it doesn't seem that was the extent of the traffic so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I suppose it could just be visitors to our main site that are clicking through...

If that's the case would think its A. the name of the site, its simple, convenient and B. is in perfect congruence with the products and services you offer. It seems like you started building a strong brand right from the start just by doing those two things right. Google rewards that because its an obvious solution for what people are searching for. My guess is your starting to get great Organic search traffic from Google. Kuddos! that would be a great problem to have
