What's the potential of the domain: I Hate New Jersey (.) com ?

Hello everyone!

I'm new here... take it easy on me

I've had the domain ihatenewjersey.com under my control for some time now but don't seem to know how to capitalize on its potential. Currently, it's a simple blog with people commenting on old posts. No new posts are being added.

What's the best business plan for this domain? I'm talking about a complete new direction for this domain, not necessarily what's on it right now.

I'm even willing to take on a partner with the right ideas! Any takers?

Do you want to create a humor blog like FML or TFLN? You can collect the blogs and publish a book like they did.

jchan, thank you for pointing out FML and TFLN. If no one comes up with a more original idea, I think I'll go with the same concept as the two examples you've listed.

Hi Dot,

Maybe you could almost turn around the name and start some sort of "Things I love to hate about New Jersey" and make it like a best of overview and inside trend look of New Jersey. You may also just want to consider trying to sell the name for a decent profit and move onto a project / subject you are more experienced in or passionate about.

It's hard to actually say how valuable your domain actually is.

Not to be too harsh but in terms of Domain Flipping, your domain is probably pretty worthless.

In terms of Branding, if done correctly you could actually turn your website into an entertainment portal that could actually turn some profit.

If I were you, I would capitalize off of the "buzz" surrounding The Jersey Shore and The Housewives Of New Jersey. Turn the site into some kind of rumor/entertainment mill dealing with the New Jersey area. There are TONS of ways you could turn a profit from this site.

Check out TheDirty (dot) com , whatever you decide to do use Facebook's viral effect to your advantage!
