What's The Best Way To Market To Lawyers?

I just came up with this really great service that I feel lawyers could use. I tried to call up several lawyers today to pitch my service to them and I wasn't able to get past the receptionist even 1 time! What's the best way to market to lawyers? Somebody told me I should lie to the receptionist and tell them I'm returning the lawyer's phone call which I don't think is ethical.

I say cold-calling or direct mail. Honestly, cold-calling is an acquired skill. My general rule of thumb is calls 0-20 you will be pretty bad. Calls 21-50 you will be decent and you will learn what works and what doesn't. Above 50, and you will be effective and be able to adapt your pitch, style, tone and closing from here on out.

Just a tip-- you don't need to go for the sale right on the call as this usually never happens. Instead, aim to get some direct contact info like email, name and phone extension; or schedule a face-to-face or phone meeting.

Thanks a lot bud. What the best way to get past the receptionist or to get the lawyer to actually call me back. I left my name and phone number with most of the receptionist and nobody has called me back yet. This all happened to day, however, so maybe I'm rushing to judgement way too quickly.
