    Using Press Release distribution service?

I wanted to know if someone at YoungEntrepreneur have used the Press Release distribution service for their online marketing needs? It will be great if someone who have used would share their experience here.

I was in search of similar distribution networks and I settled for the following two options:

    1. Compare Plans
    2. Press Release Submission Service

Thank you for your answers in advance.

I have... they aren't what they used to be. They are so full of garbage these days that most of the firms that receive them just ignore them. With that being said they do have two benefits.

1- Most press releases are sent to live sites to be posted which can create a massive amount of back links to your site.
2- They do work on the non-profit world (or at least better there then most industries)

After years of doing online marketing I really only do PR's for major non-profit events or grand openings. Unless you are marketing a real (brink and mortar) event I wouldn't waste my time doing a PR.

While I can't provide any first hand experience for you, I have looked into it and if you are going to do a press release I would recommend using PRWeb as they were the premier service for press releases last I checked.
Do something you're passionate about. It makes a world of difference to your success.
