    Thoughts on Online Contests

    Hey Guys -

Our company (Langoor) just began an online contest to give away a free $5000 website. We're trying to promote the launch of our new CMS system (site builder) for people who want an affordable way to get on the web. So far, we're having trouble promoting the contest. We've exhausted our own personal networks, and now we're at a sort of stalemate.

Here's what we've done so far:

Share on Facebook Twitter Links to Contest Site
    Facebook Fan Page
    Twitter Account
    Yahoo! Answers
Submitted to Contest Websites and Blogs

Does anyone have any other ideas on how we could promote this? Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Max

I would also suggest you target students. If you can find a way to get access to emails of college students I believe your response will be much greater. This target audience is extremely captive and always looking for ways to take advantage of free money. Post an e-bulletin on a college website and see if that gets the results you want. By the way, where can I learn about your contest?
